How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign uses a series of custom clear aligners. Each set moves your teeth a small, planned step; you switch to the next set as directed until your teeth reach their planned position.
Aligners are removable, so you take them out to eat, brush and floss. To work, they need to be worn most of the day — usually about 20 to 22 hours.
Everything starts with a 3D scan. Before you commit, you see a digital preview of how your teeth are planned to move, and the cost of treatment.
Removable, nearly invisible, made for your teeth.

What patients ask us.
How long does Invisalign take?
It depends on how much your teeth need to move. After your 3D scan, we give you an estimated timeline as part of your plan.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Some PPO plans include orthodontic benefits that can be used for Invisalign. We check your coverage and explain your out-of-pocket cost before you start.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Most people feel pressure or mild soreness for a day or two when they switch to a new set of aligners. That's a sign the aligners are working.
Can I eat and drink with aligners in?
Remove your aligners to eat and to drink anything other than water, then brush before putting them back in.
How often do I need to come in?
You'll have periodic check-ins to make sure your teeth are tracking the plan. We schedule them around your workday, including Saturdays.
Will I need a retainer?
Yes. Teeth tend to drift back after any orthodontic treatment, so a retainer is part of keeping your result.
